1. Data Collection

The findtime Slack bot collects and stores:

• Workspace ID and name (to identify your Slack workspace)
• Bot access token (to send messages on behalf of the bot)
• User ID of installer (to track who installed the app)

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do NOT collect, store, or process:

• Message content from your workspace
• User personal information
• Channel or conversation history
• Any data beyond what's necessary for bot functionality

3. How We Use Data

Collected data is used solely to:

• Respond to /findtime slash commands
• Perform timezone conversions and meeting planning
• Maintain the bot's functionality in your workspace

4. Data Retention

Installation data is retained as long as the bot is installed. When you uninstall the bot, all associated data is automatically deleted.

5. Third-Party Services

The bot uses Google Gemini API for AI meeting planning. Query text (city names) is sent to Gemini for processing but is not stored.

6. Security

All data is stored securely with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access tokens are never logged or exposed.
